We like to keep things simple at DHC, and sometimes a 'Statement of Faith' can become overly complicated. So, with that in mind, here is what Downtown Harbor Church believes:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Who came to this world to die for our sins. We believe that Jesus is the only way to God -- not because the Bible says so, but because Jesus tells us that this is the case.

We believe the Bible is the word of God. While the Bible was written by man, its words were inspired by the Holy Spirit and therefore is without error and can be trusted! We seek to help individuals see how alive and relevant the Bible is for their life.
